The Comunica Placement Test is made up of multiple choice questions that will get harder as you progress through the levels of Spanish. This test covers levels A1 through B1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

There are a total of 6 levels, following the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
A1 & A2, beginner
B1 & B2, intermediate
C1 & C1, advanced
Each level is then divided into sub-levels, which we call modules. With Comunica, each module is named after a Hispanic city. You will start your journey at MADRID (A1.1) and finish it in BUENOS AIRES (C2.7).

Do not worry. With Comunica, you will have multiple options and times available to register for every class. Once you are ready and want to attend your next class, you can look for available slots and register for the one most convenient to you!

You will not be ready for the DELE until you have completed the A1 Level of Spanish, which is equivalent to our Madrid (A1.1) module (18 hours of real-time lessons), followed by the Barcelona (A1.2) and Sevilla (A1.3) modules.
We also recommend at least 10 hours of targeted DELE preparation prior to the test, to sharpen yourself on exam-specific skills.
